I’ve created my natural, organic dog treats to supplement your pet’s regular diet. Only organic brown rice flour and oat flour is used; no wholewheat, corn or soy will be found on my ingredient labels. These ingredients have been linked to common pet allergies, and although the debates rage on, I have chosen not to use these ingredients in my products.
There has also been ongoing debate for years on whether to feed your canine friend a strict raw meat diet or to include grains in his food.
Grains are only bad when they are used as the basis for commercial foods, in other words, grain is listed first on the label. In super premium and holistic lines of dog food, grains are used as carbohydrate components, not as protein and not as filler. Plus the quality of grains used in holistic and super premium lines is grade #1 human grade or organic. This means low gluten components in the grains.
The issue of grain consumption in pet foods has more to do with the quality and quantity used in a food. For example, the use of corn in a food has gotten much bad press for being an allergen, when in fact it is the “feed grade” corn that is the problem. When compared to human grade #1 corn, it’s as different nutritionally as night and day.
Simply put, balance is the key in your pet’s diet!
You can be confident when you buy our treats that you are feeding your precious pups the highest quality ingredientss. As humans, we try to eat the foods that are healthy for us, so of course we want our dogs to eat healthy and live as long as they can too!
Trixie Lou’s Cheesers are the favorite treat at the Lazy G Ranch. The crunchy cheddar cheese oozing off the sides of these dog-bone shaped treats will have your dogs yapping for more.
Just remember ~ most two-leggers always want another piece of cake and your four-legger is no different. So remember to serve up the Cheesers as treats only. They should supplement your pup’s diet, not replace it.
